A Really Fun Prolotherapy Course—All the Places You Would Like to Be Case by Case
Advanced Course
The advanced workshop is for those individuals who have been doing prolotherapy for some time and desire to improve their physical examination, palpatory and injection skills. Prerequisites for this course are:
- Existing prolotherapy practice,
- Beginner plus one intermediate course or
- Permission of the course director.
The advanced workshop is for those who have considerable experience with the basics of musculoskeletal medicine and familiar with the characteristics of needles in tissue and are looking for a course to expand those skills with fluoroscopic feedback. Case presentations of shoulder, knee, thoracic spine, and palmar wrist will be discussed with participant’s discussion encouraged. These cases will include the diagnosis and treatment of the:
- Inferior glenohumeral,
- Posterior cruciate,
- Posterior lateral corner,
- Costotransverse
- Palmar wrist and
- Other hard to reach ligaments.
- Posture its assessment and treatment
These ligaments are close to arteries or the lungs and good palpatory skills are mandatory.
